The Art Museum Of South Texas Wins Prestigious International Cultural Heritage Media and Technology Award
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASES: CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS May 14, 2018-- The Art Museum of South Texas in Corpus Christi is pleased to announce they are a recipient of a 2018 MUSE Award for the programs of The Color of Being/El Color del Ser: DOROTHY HOOD (1918-2000).
The Art Museum of South Texas (AMST) was presented with the Bronze MUSE Award in the category of “Interpretive Interactive Installations” during a ceremony and champagne reception held on Sunday evening, May 6, 2018 at the American Alliance of Museums Annual Meeting in Phoenix, Arizona. There to receive the award were Joe Schenk, AMST Director, Sara Morgan, AMST Assistant Director, and Bob Noll, Chief Creative Officer at Boston Productions Inc., who worked with the Museum on the technology. This award celebrates the Art Museum of South Texas’ achievement “In Recognition of the Highest Standards of Excellence in the Use of Media and Technology for Interpretive Interactive Installations”.
