Comedy and Western favorites Riders In The Sky return to The Grand with a salute to country legend Roy Rogers. Join Ranger Doug, Too Slim, Woody Paul, and Joey the Cowpolka King, as they present an evening of toe-tappin' fun! For more than thirty years Riders In The Sky have been keepers of the flame of Western music passed on by the Sons of the Pioneers, Gene Autry, and Roy Rogers. And while remaining true to the integrity of Western music, they have themselves become modern-day icons by reviving, revitalizing, and branding the genre with their own legendary wacky humor and way-out Western wit, all along encouraging buckaroos and buckarettes to live life The Cowboy Way!

The Galveston Bay Foundation (GBF) is entering the fourth year of its Rain Barrel Program. This program aims to educate the communities surrounding the Galveston Bay of the benefits of harvesting rainwater. It is a low maintenance, low cost method for easily conserving water at home.
The Grand's Season opener is featuring the Texas Tenors in Concert at its two shows on Saturday, September 10 at 3:00 and 8:00 p.m. Both shows are a part of live taping for a PBS Special to be launched in June at the same time the new Texas Tenor CD, Rise is set to be released this Spring.
